Conduit handles sensitive utility and financial data for property management portfolios. Security is not an afterthought. It is built into every layer of the platform.
Encryption
All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and at rest using AES-256. Database connections are encrypted end-to-end. API communications use authenticated HTTPS exclusively.
Multi-Tenant Isolation
Each client organization's data is logically isolated at the database level. Role-based access controls ensure users only see data for their assigned buildings and portfolios. Owner portal users are restricted to their own properties.
Infrastructure
Conduit runs on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure with SOC 2 Type II certified hosting. Our platform leverages managed database services with automated backups, failover capabilities, and geographic redundancy.
Authentication & Access
Secure authentication with session management and CSRF protection. Role-based access control with four permission levels: Admin, Property Manager, Finance/CFO, and Building Owner. All access events are logged for audit purposes.
Data Handling
We never sell or share your utility data with third parties. Your data is used exclusively to power the Conduit platform for your organization. Upon account termination, data is deleted within 90 days unless retention is legally required.
Application Security
Our development practices include input validation and sanitization, parameterized database queries, HTTP security headers (HSTS, CSP, X-Frame-Options), and webhook signature verification for all incoming data integrations.
